Tiffany is one of my close friends and we agree on a lot but when it comes to fashion we sometimes bump heads. However we do share a common love for bright colors. The other night she wears a bright orange blazer with a yellow pashmina, blue jeans and brown booties. The look is simple, chic and fabulous!
Here are some looks you can create!

Recessionista deals: brown sandals by H&M $30, blue jeans by Pac Sun $20, blue jean skirt by Forever 21 $16, golden chain clutch by Mod Cloth $30 and yellow fringe trim scarf by Wet Seal $9
Hey this spring/summer it is all about dinner parties. My girlies and I enjoy our first one for 09′ last saturday. It was over the top and we are going to do many more! It is a fabulous and inexpensive way to kick back and have fun with friends.
You can have a lovely one of your own. Invite your most dearest friends and have each of them contribute to the dinner by bringing a small dish or beverage. Give the night a little twist by playing games like checkers, twister, poker, or spades. Last but not least make sure there is good music! Plug in a mp3 player or Ipod to groove the night away.

Keri Hilson is doing her thing! Her hot single Knock You Down featuring Kanye is definitely a spring/summer mixer. Not only is Hilson’s music fabulous but her spunky fashion sense is inspirational.
Are you enjoying the Keri Hilson look? I decided to show the pieces a little different. After all fashion is all about making things your way! Right?

SILENCE OF THE LAMBS
I do not believe it is possible to have witnessed a better example of contradiction in representation than the last Community Board 10’s (CB-10) meeting that I attended in Central Harlem, N Y.

But they don’t, because there is one huge problem: Members of CBs are not voted in, nor do they earn their seats; instead, they are hand picked and appointed by New York’s Borough Presidents, and NYC has five.
Through the tentacles of appointed Community Board members, the puppeteers control Harlem. In essence, it is not the majority of the residents, nor is it the long-standing cultural voice that determines the interest of Central Harlem, but the Manhattan Borough President does.
This means that(…)
