There are some interesting things going on in Hollywood… Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats tie the not and I bet we all hope Mr. Beatz doesn’t mess it up. Our American Idle Fantasia is going through it, we all hope she gets well. Laurence Fishburne ’s daughter gone wild… what a shame, look at the things people to do to get attention. Ms. Haley Berry is on the cover of Vogue’s September Issue. What a big DEAL… I’m running to get my copy because we only see this happen every decade or so (you all know just what I mean and If you don’t please research the covers of Vogue’s September issue from 60s to now).

Christina and the Dream are getting a divorce, shocked? I’m not because it was cute and fast just like other hollywood couples. All though there is one rumor that had me gagging… Mr. Dreamy slips prenup papers while Christina’s in labor? So SHADY!

Haitian Ambassador Wyclef Jean is running for presidency in his native land! In his music you hear the pride, passion and dedication he has to keep Haiti alive. Long before the earthquake hit, Haiti suffered tremendously because of economic depression. Wyclef’s music brings light to the devastation and inspires many to help others and to be thankful of the small things that others only dream to have. His organization Yele Haiti helps provides jobs, education, food and clothing to thousands of Haitians in need. He has done well so far providing and uplifting his homeland and I wish him all the best in his campaign and voyage to becoming president.

There are many things I admire about Dr. Lisa Masterson and if you’re not a aware of who she is or what she dooes —– it’s about time you do. She is beautiful, educated, stylish, a humanitarian and to top it off, the only woman doctor on hit show the Doctors on the CBS station. Dr. Masterson is a staff member of Cedar-Sinai, UCLA and St. Johns which she specializes in gynecology, obstetrics, infertility, adolescent gynecology and family planning and has her own medical spa in Santa Monica, California.
Dr. Masterson being a mother, wife and busy physician you would think one would be exhausted but it seems to be her fuel. With her Maternal Fetal Care International organization (MFCI), she travels to Kenya and Africa to set up birth clinics to help deliver healthy babies. Her care and services helps decrease the chances of HIV/AIDS transmitting from mother to child.

There are plenty of Hollywood stars getting together and many of them don’t make sense at all. However, I so love Jamie Fox and Stacy Dash together both are talented and sexy. I wish the best for the two of them and can’t wait to see them trotting around Hollywood together. Dying for more pics…

Lena was stunningly graceful and of course stylish!
Lena Horne passed away May 10 2010 at the age of 92 and her iconic life will live on. Horne was one of the best jazz singers, dancers and actress of her time. Not only did she have magic on stage but the courage to stand up for racial equality. Being African American, Lena was denied the right to perform in many all white acts but because of her beauty and light skin she was given many other privileges dark skin performers weren’t. Horne stood up for all African American people, rejecting roles that will put her race down or in mockery.
One of my favorite quotes from Lena Horne: ”My identity is very clear to me now, I am a black woman, I’m not alone, I’m free. I say I’m free because I no longer have to be a credit, I don’t have to be(…)
